After being here for 2 months and 12 days, I have finally got round to cooking dinner. I tend to eat cereal in the evenings as we always have a big lunch, but I decided it was finally time to cook. You can see from the picture that I am quite a natural at this ‘cooking’ thing, and might even enter Master Chef when I get back.
For any of you who are not so talented, here is the recipe:
1. Get a large pan of slightly salted water and bring to the boil
2. Get one sweet corn cob freshly picked out of the field that day
3. Remove the husk and any disgusting stringy stuff from the cob
4. Place the cob very carefully into the boiling water
5. After approx 12-15 minutes carefully remove the cob from the water
6. *Brush with butter and salt and pepper if desired
7. Allow to cool slightly before eating
* Optional

Yummy! But what did you have with your corn? LOL! Oh, try cooking it on the grill it's even better! Double yum! I can tell you how to do it if you don't know how.
Bon Apetit!
Any chance of a recipe for the perfect cup of tea?
This recipe was great! I was hosting a dinner party tonight and I didn't know what to cook. Fortunately I stumbled across your blog and thought - that's what I'm going to cook. It was a huge hit!
Thanks!
